What was your first concert?... Your last?

First - Jackson 5 - At the rodeo in the Astrodome, either 1973 or 1974. They were on a little trailer being pulled arouind by a pickup truck.

We were in the nosebleed seats,in one of the worst places to ever see a concert. All we could hear was a faint echo.

First non-rodeo concert - Outlaws/UFO - 1980?

Last show - Bootsy Collins - last month

1st- Would have been the first show in our new Civic Center in 1980 (I thingk that was the year. The Augusta Jam - The Dixie Dregs, Mother's Finest and the Atlanta Rythm Section.
Last one was the most special one of all. I told my son(he's 16 now) that I wanted to take him to his first concert if anyone worth seeing came w/in driving distance (the concert scene here was dead for many years). Right after I told him that the announcement was made that Disturbed was coming here!

So my last one was his first one and a very special night for both of us.

First was Jefferson Airplane in 1967 at the New Haven Arena. My babysitter took me. So loud.
First I went to by myself was in 1971, Grand Funk Railroad, with Yes as the opener. Yes was incredible. GFR was loud & sloppy.

For the most part I see music in clubs and bars these days.
Last small venue concert was Jeff Beck at the Electric Factory two years ago.
Last large venue show was Nine Inch Nails at the Spectrum three years ago.
Both were great.

First concert was almost ten years ago.

8/29/01 - Godsmack w/ Deftones and Puddle of Mudd opened at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ

Last concert:

6/18/11 - Dispatch at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. About four days after arriving back from Bonnaroo!

Next concert:

9/26/11 - Foo Fighters at Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

1st concert was Chicago in 1971 at the Johnstown, PA War Memorial Arena. Last was the 4 day Creation Festival in Shirleysburg, PA with about 125,000 people and over 30 bands including Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Skillet, Red, Tenth Avenue North, and many others.
