my first was an ADA MP1 ('cause.... um...... Les played one) and a Boss PS-2 pitch shifter/delay that my vocalist stole from me and used on voice and trumpet. skeelz.

Fuzzrocious makes a pretty good clone with some bells and whistles. If you're in the market, check them out. Mine's on order

Dunlop bass wah. The black one. I thought it sounded like poo. I happen to like run-on sentences.
I think my first pedal was an MXR Phase 90. Shortly thereafter I had a Boss Stereo Chorus, a horribly noisy Digitech or DOD compressor and a Morley Wah/Volume.

BOSS CE-2. Can you tell it was in the '80s?

I bought a Boss OC-2 and a cheap boss copy analog delay in 87 - I can't remember which one I bought first. I bought the delay so I could play even 16ths throughout 'Legs' by ZZ Top in a cover band. I still have both pedals.
My guitarist borrowed the delay pedal from me about 18 months ago. Recently I asked him if he still knew where it was. He pulled it out and said 'yeah, I've got it here but it's broken'. Turns out there wasn't a battery in it and he never checked.:scowl:
