In color theory I think this is visual equivalent to a b5 interval with a very wet and wobbly chorus/phase effect going on.

It would work in the correct context and be really cool. I'm sure Bjork would know what to do with it.

On the other hand . . . Bass is one of seven, used by an entertainer on a cruise ship, who has a matching tux belt and bow tie for all seven colors. I'm not being crass here - I actually met such a player on a 7-day cruise several years ago. He wanted a bass and his tux to be different each night of the cruise. MAYBE this is one of his 'cruise basses?'

I'm red green color blind and that pickguard looks awful.

Most of us can see color we just get some shades mixed up. They look the same. For me it's dark purples, blues and browns that all look similar.

The green tort pg makes me a little queasy, but that bass rig is PIMP. Always loved the blue sparkle tuck-and-roll, and the absolute coolest I've ever seen was purple metallic, but that green is right up there in the "I'm going to funk your face right off" category.
