Tried to watch the new, Jordan Peele version of "The Twilight Zone." Gave it two full one-hour episodes to impress me. It didn't. Each episode had pretty cool twists at the end, but overall felt tedious and labored.

I'll stick with the original. Even the cheesiest episodes of Rod Serling's "Twilight Zone" are more entertaining than the new "TZ."

Agree with everything you said. I tried the newest TZ iteration and wanted it to work. Just didn't click with me. But I'll still watch the occasional original TZ when they're on, even if I've seen it 40 times already LOL.

A couple of other similar-ish shows I liked back in the day were The Outer Limits and One Step Beyond. Along with Alfred Hitchcock.

For the second time, been deep diving into old and obscure cartoons and animations (on YouTube), ignoring today's computers graphics. From well done, interesting, intelligent to "*** did I just watch?" LOL.

While "tooning", I ran into this. A 10min 50 sec history of early films that starts with a 1911 film and works backwards to the earliest known film from 1874. A neat look into people's lives from over 100 years ago and some of the folk we can thank for the beginnings of the film industries we take for granted today.

This was the first Avengers movie I had ever seen, back when it came out (a friend wanted to see it and well, okay, whatever, I know nothing!)

Now after seeing all the rest of the films, I get it.

Burden Of Proof on MAX. True crime docuseries about a man who believes his parents murdered his sister back in the late 80s. I've gotten tired of true crime in general, but I'm 2 eps into this one and it's very compelling.

A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence.
Was it great? No, but it's the exact mindless entertainment I was looking for tonight. Funny at times, although that kind of humour isn't for everyone. It's a random collection of stories intertwined with each other, but there's not a plot or storyline one has to keep up with.

Recently finished watching all 7 seasons of Bosch. (As retired law enforcement, I really enjoyed that one.)

Then I watched "Jury Duty". (Pretty funny!)

Now I'm watching "Millions". I'm not at all into the world of high finance, but it's a strong cast. All on Amazon Prime.

Watched Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection in the past couple of days. I think 3 and Resurrection are not so strong? The first 2 movies are great but those were just...not as good.

1 and 2 are supposed to be great sci fi masterpieces but they bore me to tears. I've never seen 3, and Resurrection is cheesy and ridiculous, but entertaining. The whole franchise does nothing for me.
