The soundtrack is really cool, with a '70s blaxploitation retro vibe. And there's just enough heart in this movie to keep it from being a mere parody of conspiracy theories.

Kinda busy today around the house, but there was a marathon of Bob Hope, Bing Crosby "Road to" movies on cable. Lighthearted fun when I'd take a break, seen 'em all before. Those zany boys LOL

Lately I have been watching a lot of older movies on Youtube. Some of them I had never heard of and may not really be considered classics. Sometimes I have to sort through the poor quality print and movies that are not so good. It can take a while but it pays off for me and mrs. slo.
I would love suggestions. I will post some of my favorites here.
Last night we watched "Rally around the Flag Boys." It is a 1958 comedy in color starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and a young Joan Collins.
Newmans wife is on every committee there is in their small New England town. He is frustrated about his lack of time with her and other things with his wife. His wife is busy opposing a secret military base in their town. Meanwhile Joan Collins is doing everything in her power to seduce Paul Newman. Pretty funny movie and great acting.

Season Two. I'm three episodes in and am a bit let down. All the good things about season one (the Trantor-Empire storyline) are not up to the very high Season One standard. A lot of the Outer Reach story, which was not as well done even in Season One, is still plagued by mediocre writing, direction and acting.

I’m 3 eps in. It’s good so far. The direction style is a bit frantic, but that’s probably intentional.
