The first two are solid, straight forward action movies. They give you little bits of character development so when Denzel kills every one who wronged them, it's somewhat impactful. With this one they spent two thirds of the movie on peripheral character development. It was boring.
Only because we could, we watched "Cocaine Bear" last night. We were cracking up and cringing at the same time.
It was great! Didn't try to be anything but what it was.

We started watching "Star Wars: Rebels" last night at our son's suggestion. If you're watching "Ahsoka", you really should watch this in order to familiarize yourself with the characters and the events leading up to "Ahsoka".

I could not agree more. It's so good and it's criminal that it never got any sequels.
I haven't read the comics but I've read the wiki and plot summaries. It's a huge, well developed fictional world. There are so many good stories to tell. But it'll probably never happen.
Probably not. I know Karl Urban tried for years to get another one funded, at least he got The Boys. I know a lot of people have issues with that show, but I absolutely love it.

As soon as someone tells me I need to watch/read something else in order to understand another movie or show, I'm out. Star Wars depends on this quite a bit, which is why I'm done with that universe.
I'm sure you don't need to see the cartoons to understand the show, but it probably gives you some world building that makes it more enjoyable. Star Wars isn't complex enough to need much background. The movies do very little world building. It's why I think they mostly suck.
Note that I said "really should watch". As @Gorn said, it isn't necessary, but it helps.
