When "Zombieland" (2009) was released, I was already done with the whole zombie craze/obsession, so I didn't watch it, in spite of all the positive reviews. I watched it last night, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's clever, it's funny, it has likeable characters, and even a bit of non-annoying sentimentality.

This is my favorite scene from that movie...that brief pause before John Lithgow says "it's important" is just sublime.

"Rosemary's Baby"

It's considered a classic, so I gave it a try. It's a slow burn to be sure; too slow for me, and too long. I don't need gore or jump scares or slasher-type stuff, but this movie just didn't work for me. I'll take "The Omen" over "Rosemary's Baby" any day.
