Whatcha watching?

I'm 2.5 episodes into Fallout and I don't think I wanna watch this anymore. The lore isn't interesting. I don't care about the characters. Does this show much, much better soon?
There are some reveals at the end of the season that resemble the weight of the reveals in the Silo book series, so in my opinion it's worth riding it out if for nothing else than to experience the aha moment.

I like the production design and overall aesthetics (including music) a lot - though it could be too stylized for some.

All right...all of you just stop talking about Fallout!!! I haven't been hooked on a series in a very long time, and I don't want to get hooked again, so stop tempting me!!!

So...is it really that good? Asking for a friend...

Aside from the main protagonist being so irritating I'd wish she'd die, it's not so bad.

The post-apocalyptic world-building is good, until you see the spots where it's totally unrealistic.

The mystery of the central story lines is keeping me going.

Right. The concept that car carcasses from the 1950s would still exist after 219 years of exposure to the elements is simply bullocks.

I'm binge-ing "Killing Eve". One of the writers was the "Fleabag" lady. It's tremendously funny with stellar actors and performances.
Yeah it is. Wife and I loved that series.

Regarding Fallout, as @Lance Bunyon mentioned, it may be worth riding out to the end. Unexpected change of perspective and answers to things left open from earlier episodes. Like I mentioned earlier, it was a great set-up for a season 2 (do the right thing, Amazon...).

If, for sure, you're not gonna finish it, you could do what I do when a series, or movie, isn't grabbing me by the boo-boo. Either jump ahead to the last episode of the season for some reveals and twists, or read the Wiki article on the series. Plot is described for each episode. I did the Wiki thing with Picard and a few others I couldn't totally get into.

I think so. Enjoying it just as much the second time through and picking up little details that were missed upon first viewing. As others have said, the payoff at the end is worth every step of the journey to get there as long as you don’t take everything too seriously. It’s fantasy entertainment for f##k sake.

If you keep in mind that it's as much about 50s nostalgia as the usual nuclear dystopia, you can sidestep a lot of the nitpicking. Although so many wasteland tropes get a shout out. A lot of time and money been invested on the back of a very popular game. Of course it's going to be entertaining.

I thought it was that good. But nobody is talking the Shakespeare for TV, like they did with Breaking Bad.
