Whatcha watching?

Need a few shows in the meantime for when I have time. Like Sci-fi and weird stuff.
If you haven't found this already, DUST has a channel on Youtube chocked full of short story and novella films to go thru. You'll run into some clunkers, most are adequate to good, some are exceptional. Even run into some known actors.

This one stars Timothy Spall, well regarded English actor. Some may remember him from Harry Potter films as Peter Pettigrew.

"This Time Away", ~13.5 minutes. A tender scifi story.

Baby Reindeer.

My wife’s boss recommended it so that's usually a double whammy where I sit on the couch and listen to music with AirPods and pretend to watch and guffaw when she laughs. But this is actually pretty good.

It’s probably the darkest thing I’ve seen on TV in awhile. The ep where he meets the TV writer was tough to watch.

The Bon Jovi docuseries on Hulu is good so far. I’m 2 eps in, and it’s entertaining. I’m not a huge fan, but the history is interesting. Another time capsule of a time that’s never coming back.
He is one of the most genuinely nicest people I’ve met, famous or otherwise. I am looking forward to watching some time in the next week or so.

Good looking out. Thanks! There is a ton of content there. I love anthology stuff and have a short attention span. Perfect.

The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
On the Roku they have a channel that only plays reruns. I dig it for many reasons.

I remember during the old days of giant satellite dishes we’d go over to a friends house in the afternoon and watch the Johnny Carson Show feed to the local network affiliates. During where the commercials would be you could see and hear the band continue to play and watch Johnny take a drag or two off of a cig.

Good times
:)

My father in law had one too, you could aim it different satellites and get different feeds. The late night shows were the best, pre YouTube and internet it seemed so cool.:)

My wife's grandparents out in the TX panhandle had one. It was cool. I felt like I was a radio astronomer searching for extraterrestrial intelligence, but all I could find was TV.

Hulu has a bunch of great music docs. Most recent one I watched was Kiss. And recently watched the new Duran Duran one on Netflix. It doesn't even matter if I'm a fan or not, I love this stuff.
