That's probably my favorite Tarantino movie. It was a loving return to a day that has gone, but with a happier ending.
I gave up halfway through season 1. The only thing I like about it is the atmosphere. They did a good job with the feel of their world from the books, which I love. You and I know where this story goes and I doubt it'll translate well for a show. They'll move things around, combine characters, eliminate whole story elements and introduce new ones. And I don't like Rebecca Ferguson as Juliet. I haven't read the books in years, and the character certainly wasn't jolly, but she's so miserable in the show.

I hadn't even heard of this movie. The little I've seen of it looks hilarious! I'm thinking about watching the whole thing later.

I thoroughly enjoyed season one of Silo and I'm looking forward to season 2 and a couple of other things on Apple. My debit card number got jacked and I had to get a new one and Apple makes it effingly, stupidly, hard to update payment information (they ask for the three digit code to make any changes, but if it was destroyed because it was stolen, I no longer have access to it, so.... wtflippityf). Anyhow, once that's sorted out I'll start watching.
I’m really looking forward to the next season of Foundation even though I was disappointed with the happy ending of last season.
Yeah, it was a really fun, goofy, band movie - ideal Halloween movie binge fodder.
I don't know if it's a thing bands do anymore (too much of a distraction, maintaining a social media presence, with bite sized / small attention span tour diary videos / photos / commentary etc), but back when video cameras were becoming more affordable, but there wasn't yet the arrival of the world wide web, reliable mobile internet, and social media etc to alleviate the boredom - it was really common for bands to make tour bus horror movies, if just to prevent it happening for real, through cabin fever.
I wish I could find / had a copy of one of my old bands horror movies, from 1991 - it was hilariously, and absolutely terrible.
Anyway, the Foo Fighters movie is basically a well planned, well staged version of that, rather than any of the movies made by The Beatles, or The Monkees et al.
Started on Lost. Always assumed it was unscripted tv, where wannabe wannabes plot and scheme. But no. It's scripted. There's plenty to criticise. Maybe not for those with a taste for common sense and the laws of physics. But I kind of enjoy the sub Lord of the Flies dynamic. With enough pretty people that I don't feel a need to shout at the screen.
Went back to 1980 last night to watch Joni Mitchell jamming with Jaco and Pat Metheny in her "Shadows and Light" concert. 
Tried Landman last night. They dropped the first two episodes and after that taste, it's shaping up to be a tawdry version of Goliath with Billy Bob once again cast as an untethered soul in a high stress job with an ex he has semi civil relationship with, it's just set in Midland Texas oilfields and bars rather than San Francisco law firms and a Santa Monica motel and bar.
Yeah, so they already jacked up the story line in S2E1. Supposedly, Hugh Howey is very involved in the screenplays. They must be paying him a ton for him to help them trash his story like this.
Saw this on YouTube. All I know is it's their first time at St.Catherine's. This is still in the John Rutsey days. Can't tell you how many times we ended up a gig with this song in my early garage band days. I loved it.

Really disappointed with episode 1 of Dune : Prophecy - it's so clumsily written, and clunkily presented.
It frequently threatens to turn into a mash-up of The Acolyte, and The Last Airbender, but with all the unintentional comedy replaced by utter tedium.
My expectations for Alien : Earth are so low, they're subterranean.
Really disappointed with episode 1 of Dune : Prophecy - it's so clumsily written, and clunkily presented.

For those who liked the hyper realism and historical details of The Witch, The Devil's Bath is quite a watch.
