Silo is back as others have mentioned. Well, I don't know if I have ever seen a season premiere fall on its face like that before. Stick to the story. I hate the way they drag some of these shows out. We just get stupid, unneeded filler. I don't care about flashbacks to Juliet as a child. It is not important to the story at all. Just get on with the story. They have taken a really good story and made it so very boring. Of the 8-9 episodes last year, only maybe 3 were really good. This is another Man In The High Castle for me. Great story, but good grief, you shouldn't take 3-4 seasons to tell it. Just leads to boring boring filler. Other shows have been successful with the one season story. Just recently on the same channel was Dark Matter and Bad Monkey. Good shows encompassing one season. Good job.
Some will say, well Parzival, you can't do all of the Silo series in one season. They aren't even out of Wool yet and it was not that long of a book. If they do the three books, is it going to take 8-9 seasons?

They could effectively do one season per book. Rebecca Ferguson has said she had to commit to four seasons, so unless it gets cancelled we have at least that many.
I do like the show a lot, but geez, half of an episode watching Julliette MacGyvering a bridge is a waste of time when there is so much of the Solo story to tell right now.
This is what I loved about Penny Dreadful :
3 seasons.
Beginning.
Middle.
End.
Bam!
Done!
Too bad the next story got cancelled after the first season - it was a really interesting change of direction, coming across as a mix of Chinatown / West Side Story / La Llorona - and was shaping up nicely.

That was the only good part, but it took almost 3 hours to get there.
My fiancé' and I are going to restart Yellowstone from the beginning since we're already a few seasons behind and the new and last just started.
The early shows were the best, the writing was better.
True. Much like "The Walking Dead", the writers for "Yellowstone" are rushing to give the viewers an end of some kind, satisfying or not.
So that they can concentrate on giving each of the characters their own spin-off show, as well as a bunch of ancillary shows with all new characters, where they can continue to prove the point that they've already exhaustively mined the good ideas from the franchise, and explored every avenue worth exploring - because what we really need is an origin story, and a bunch of alternative views of the same thing...
Controversial one but saw the premiere of RUST yesterday. Despite the tragedy and cacophony of debate and online experts, a MUCH better film than I expected it to be (I guess because of the budget issues I assumed a straight to streaming money grab production but it is a very solid and well made film on it's own).
Was introduced by a close friend of the killed DP and the director (who was hit by the same bullet) which added a lot more complexity to the situation than what was in the press and social media. The film was completed on the condition that it benefits her son (and her mother, who did not attend, blessed it being completed). Alec Baldwin was not present or invited (but probably the best performance I've seen him do).
