Just finished “Wonderland Massacre & the Secret History of Hollywood” on MGM+. Very well done docuseries on the infamous murders in 1981.

There are a few actors whom I will not watch anything they’re in. The Rock is one of them. I get that people like him, but for me, he’s an indicator of what will likely be a terrible movie. And yes, incredibly overpaid.
Cobra Kai season six, part two. I'm not liking how they went in part two. Hopefully part three turns my opinion around.

Tarantino didn't really have any say in the matter; True Romance was just an early script that he sold (Directed by Ridley Scott's brother, Tony).
What I thought was interesting was the level of offence Tarantino took, from his first screenplay that he sold - Natural Born Killers - being turned from an intentionally small scale, low budget, cheap to produce script, rewritten into a sprawling, large budget, studio distributed, tent pole movie.
What I found particularly interesting was his refusal to engage with it, or even see it - claiming that at some non-specific time in the distant future, he would find it on cable TV in some motel, smoke a bong, and watch it in bed.
Nine year later he would release Kill Bill vol 1, which utilised ALL of the same techniques used in Oliver Stone's take on Natural Born Killers (mixing Black & White, and Colour film stocks / mixing film stocks of different speeds, and grain / blown out top lighting / animation), and even used the same cinematographer; Robert Richardson.
Christian Slater has been pretty active lately. He won a Golden Globe for his role in Mr. Robot, and his IMDB page has quite a few credits from then on.
Jackie Brown is definitely underrated. I think people were expecting Pulp Fiction 2 as a follow up, and it was completely different. Inglorious Basterds is still my favorite, though.
Found my old VHS if this yesterday evening. I love sci fi from the 50s and 60s. 
Saw Heretic, Hugh Grant is great, and aside from a bit of a wobble at the end, it's a solid movie. I really enjoyed it.
Just saw Emilia Perez. Wow. One of those movies best seen cold, not knowing anything in advance.
Yeah, the first half was truly exceptional.
I enjoyed the whole movie, and don't want to get into spoiler territory - suffice to say that the 3rd act didn't go in the direction that I'd hoped, but I appreciate the reasons it went the way it did, and the points it was making.

Looking to save some money, I changed our Disney+ subscription to include Hulu and ads. We watched Season 1 of "Only Murders In The Building" on ABC last year, so now we're watching Season 2. Good stuff.
Anyone check out Silo season 2 Episode 1 on Apple TV+? Some intriguing concepts, but I feel like it didn't demand as much attention as the S1 opener.
I just finished a rewatch of season 1 last night, so season 2 is up for tonight. I'm a big fan of the books and was not thrilled with how they handled the story so far. Some of the writing decisions so far are going to make it hard to keep the story on track during season 2.

Except for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - that one just unwatchable.
Agreed. I hated that one with a passion. It was almost a walkout for me.
Was just talking about Tarantino yesterday with friend's/bandmates. Neither of them like Once Upon a Time, but I loved it, I thought it was hilarious, especially the actual attack.
