Whatcha watching?

I've begun rewatching Better Call Saul. It's one of two series I bought on Xbox before Microsoft stopped selling shows and movies.

Other than that I watched some of the women's Tour De France, which was pretty cutthroat.

Oh, yesterday I watched the Guardians' Gavin Williams take a no-hitter against the Mets into the 9th inning before giving up a home run.

Finished binge watching all 3 seasons / 45 episodes of THE FOLLOWING. I missed it first time around . After completing that decided to check out THE BONDSMAN for some more Kevin Bacon. Disappointed there won’t be a season 2. Sadly a month after dropping all 8 season 1 episodes Amazon Prime chose not to approve a second season.

I rewatched Better Call Saul again a few months ago. I feel like it's one of the best series ever.

Dexter: Resurrection. If they keep making them I'll keep watching them.

Rick and Morty: Finished s07 and waiting for s08 to stream in a few weeks.

Mr. Robot I'm taking slightly slower. Definitely the vibe. One of those shows that came out when I ditched cable and never saw. I'm like "oh that dude from the Queen biopic is super talented."

South Park: I mean... Ya... Reeeeeeeeeeee!

We watched "The Monkey" on Friday. It was not good. But mainly because we had read the story previously, so we had some expectations that weren't met.

Saturday we watched "MacGruber". HILARIOUS. I'm still laughing about "upper decker". :D

Hah, I loved The Monkey on its own terms. Yeah, it's different from King's story, but I thought the movie was hilarious. My understanding was that it was 'inspired by' rather than movie-of-the-story, so I may have had different expectations.

Lately, I've been going to Tubi to watch really bad disaster movies (Moon crashes into Earth; asteroid crashes into Earth; fracking causes a monumental collapse of the Earth's crust; etc.). Almost always, the military knuckleheads get impatient with the heroic, fact-driven scientists and decide to use an atomic bomb to fix the problem, with mixed results. Usually featuring journeyman or washed-up actors.
Perfect for muting the TV and practicing scales or vocal parts.👍

Weapons was great, bordering on excellent. Almost excellent . A couple of tweaks and it would’ve been amazing. It’s unique. Unitl the reveal, which is halfway through when it should’ve been three quarters of the way through, it was unpredictable. It’s way too dark. They’re going for natural lighting in a pitch black house. I get it. But if I can’t see what’s happening, that’s a problem. It’s mystery horror with exactly three laughs. Really great movie.

Really looking forward to seeing it tomorrow.
