I've been watching the peripheral Transformers things on prime video. This is a terrible movie, as all the live action ones are. Pandering and cheap and it felt rushed and sloppy.

The Fix on prime video. South African sci fi that was a good premise, but not the greatest execution. Still enjoyable though.
I'm with you, I thought it was really good. Sure, conventional redemption story and 7 act structure but did it well and the technical production was stellar.
Watched Happy Gilmore 2. It was alright, I didn't hate it. I laughed out loud a few times. Adam Sandler after all, so don't take the acting and plot too seriously. He threw a lot of bones to his friends with small cameos throughout. Lots of cameos. Stupid, goofy and entertaining.
The Unthinkable. A Swedish film about a Russian invasion. Very slow, had some good elements, but was too long for the story told.
Explorer from another world. A modern take on sci fi horror movies from the 50s and 60s. Low budget, and over the top practical gore effects. A fun watch.

I'm personally waiting for the musical. That's where they're gonna shine with an 80's cartoon my generation has all kinds of nostalgia for. That'll be the ticket.

It was one of the free choices on our flight from O'Hare to Seattle. I am glad I picked it.
As soon as those opening credits started rolling, all the memories of seeing that movie in the theater came racing back. I remembered almost every scene like it was yesterday. I didn't have time to watch it twice, but wish I did. That was fun and I think it's a good movie.
