Whatcha watching?

Our Dinsey+ preview lapsed before I could finish Andor season 2, which I was looking forward to
Started watching the new Shogun, it scratches many itches for me. Loved the 1980s TV serial too, as a kid.

I wish I could justify the scratch for Apple TV. I've loved all of Foundation that I have seen so far. Don't care how it diverg3es form the books, which also love. I feel like it respects the source and conveys the sensibility well.
The newest "Shogun" is miles better than the 80s version.

I had it for a year from the purchase of a new phone, and it lapsed, but then I came across the apple one trial. You might have it and not know. It's three months of tv and the music app.

I had that. Managed to watch everything I thought might be good. Then let it lapse when the freeness ended. Now I got 4 months of Disney for $5 a month. I figure 1 streaming service at a time while the others build up fresh content.

I'm really enjoying Invasion again. I have one major gripe though -

The scene where the military is transporting Aneesha and her family after the discovery of Luke's metal shard that can kill the aliens - why the holy hell were they on a single truck with no escort when they're transporting something of such immense military value? That made NO sense.

Because no one would expect them to do that. 🤔🤣

Holy smokes. I didn't know that video existed. That brought back some crazy memories of Layne and AiC. Wow.
They used to play this gig at The Evergreen State College, and we'd have to give up playing basketball on those nights since they played in the gym. At first I despised those guys for taking our gym time. Haha.
