Gen V season 2 (Amazon Prime). Diggin' it. Didn't know it was back on until yesterday, so I binged a few episodes. That series is a spinoff of The Boys. Season 5 of The Boys won't start until 2026...Grrr...

I enjoyed this season and it sets up some fun things for The Boys.

I just want to know what will happen with Homelander. He's too powerful for anything else to matter. Butcher's tumor tentacles can't take him on. I'm less interested in the story telling and characters and action at this point. I only want the end.

This is what's gonna happen. Everyone but Starlight is locked up. The US is under martial law. Homelander will be in a conference room and loving it as he doles out new policies. But than the new regime, of which he's the figurehead, will start to limit his political power. He'll stick around for a while because he likes his new position, but it'll slowly fade away. Then he'll join forces with the boys to take down the regime. Then his son will fly in suddenly and rip him in half, or rip the top of his skull off. And Ashley. Ashley is some kind of monster now. She'll hold him down and vomit acid onto his face or something.

Finished Gen V season 2 this morning. You're right, it sets up next season's The Boys nicely. Lookin' forward to it...whenever they decide to air the damned thing LOL. When I went looking yesterday for info on The Boys next season, earlier reports said it should have started last month.

Also found out on Prime, season 2 of Fallout is starting 17 December. Loved the first season, but didn't know a 2nd was even considered. And a 3rd season is in-the-works. Very cool to me.

Same. We got 3 episodes into season 3 and lost interest. When they insert violence for the sake of violence and eschew a solid storyline, I'm out.

Hadn’t seen it since I was a teenager in the 80’s. I loved the visuals back then and now that I’m in my mid 50s, I appreciate the social commentary even more.

Bullshot (1983)

Saw parts of it back in the 80s when it was in HBO rotation. Good for a few laughs. George Harrison production credit and Stings first wife plays one of the baddies.

Saturday we watched "House of Wax" (1953) starring Vincent Price. A very good movie, although I noticed the pacing of the dialogue was ridiculous. Take a breath, people!
