Whatcha watching?

Found another good (IMO) old movie yesterday, Seance on a Wet Afternoon (1964). Not horror, but psychological dealing with madness concerning a domineering, manipulative unbalanced woman who works at home as a medium and her docile husband. Acting was excellent along with intelligent dialogue. Atmosphere and set decorations added to the story.

@roccobass, after reading your post, I found The Monolith Monsters (1957) on Tubi. Perfect Saturday afternoon viewing, just like when I was a kid when Saturday cartoons were over LOL. A little girl on a field trip just took an alien rock. What could possibly go wrong? LOL

I know. Regarding the little girl, being well behaved and minding mom, (who didn’t want the dirty rock in her clean house), the little girl puts it in a barrel of water! It was all I could do not to scream “Noooooo, don’t do that!”, at the TV!!

Totally!
Now I need to go find it. Thank you for that post. Good stuff.

Right on!. I dug both Incredible Shrinking Man and Monolith Monsters. I have them both on the same classic sci-fi collection package.
On the trivia front. I didn't realize it until this morning. The lead character in both movies is played by Grant Williams.

The cool thing about Tubi is the recommendations they make that they think you'll like based on what you just watched. After Monolith Monsters we were presented with 7-8 other classic sci-fi movies from the 50's and 60's. We opted for 'Earth vs The Flying Saucers'.
So far it's a good one too, for the era and genre.

The wife and I are delving into documentaries - mostly true crime, with some history (either recent or super distant, think dinosaurs) peppered throughout. We would love some recommendations! Recently we have enjoyed Into the Deep on Netflix and Prehistoric Planet on Apple TV. We have those two and Hulu at our disposal! Anything in that realm is appreciated

47 pages of recommendations here, although I'm not certain all of them meet you requirements....
