We watch a lot of reality TV and have completed series like Alone, Life Below Zero, Port Protection, working our way through Deadliest Catch. Moved onto reality game shows and watched most of Traitors, Millionaire Secret. Currently trying The Mole on Netflix, but the game play is not clear and a bit confusing. Traitors UK was a lot of fun.

The Servant on Apple TV+ is absolutely delightfully creepy. Recommended.
Just finished Widow's Bay on Apple TV+. Just OK. Fun characters.

The Price Is Right reruns from the 80s. It's an interesting time capsule of fashion, hairstyles, etc. It's sad to see how many American companies who supplied prizes no longer exist.

I watch it several times a week, I love it. Having lived through those years makes it fun to watch too, and @WG Plum is totally right, ha.

I recently watched The Librarian trilogy of movies from about 20 years ago. (Maybe I need to watch the series next?) They are, quite literally, made-for-TV Indiana Jones homages. I refrain from using the term "rip-off" because Indiana Jones itself borrows heavily from pulp fiction, and this just borrows heavily from it. Anyway, I thought they were wonderful. Funny, lighthearted, but earnest and enjoyable films. Not too serious, and they know exactly what they are and aren't. Precisely what I was hoping for, as I hadn't seen these since they came out and I remembered very little except enjoying them.

We've watched all of the movies and the series, which is good until Noah Wyle left the show. It went downhill a bit at that point.

Watched Army of Darkness with the kiddo, his first time. He was rolling. Happy dad.

I remember being pretty disappointed with that, when I first saw it (VHS rental, as I was too young to get into the theatre).

I inevitably ended up with copies on VHS, and DVD just because I'm a completist - but I was never in the mood to watch it, and when I did it felt sort of flat.

Anyway, a few years ago I happened to catch an afternoon performance of it at the Prince Charles Cinema (£1 for members), as I was waiting around in town with time to kill.

Seeing it in a packed house, with a fully appreciative audienc, just completely changes my opinion - it was an absolute riot, all the jokes landed, the action scenes looked great on a big screen.

Absolutely love it now.

Odyssey is going to cost us $50-IMAX. Dinner another $100, only because i don’t typically drink with dinner. I can wait it out, do a nice risotto, have a nice bottle of wine for $35, break wind at leisure, and not have to put up with the inevitable poor behaviors the evening will undoubtedly reward us with at some point.

Three hours is an eternity. I don’t even want to do something i really like to do for three hours anymore except maybe sleep. Let me know what you think about it when you see it.

Sound of Metal.
Another one I saw years ago and watched again tonight. It had been so long I forgot some of the details so it was almost like watching for the first time. The random familiarities made it fun to watch, I felt like I knew Ruben (the main character for anyone who hasn't seen it). It's not based on a true story, but I still had this feeling like I was watching a documentary about someone I know.

I was certainly surprised at what goes into making a Nord. If I played keyboards one of their products would be in my collection, for sure. Especially after seeing that video.

Those are way out of my price range. Plus, I only use soft synths these days for recording. I don't play keys live.

Wayotta® my price range too, which is $0 for anything that I can't put guitar or bass strings on.
