This bass is not bad overall but has a noticeable neckdive, at least the one I tried. Also make sure you like the tone that the ebonol fingerboard produces - some people feel that it lacks midrange frequencies compared to rosewood.
Grateful said:The Douglas and SX fretless basses at Rondo are great basses for the money. I've had both, and my first fretless was a Douglas. They're totally playable and gig-worthy. They'll take a setup well and are great platforms to upgrade later if you desire. Kurt at Rondo's customer is top notch as well: far better than one might expect at the price point.
