I love you guys, but
i2k, any reasons the Halo is departing? I've heard nothing but great things on it.
Nothing bad on the Halo, it's just personnal preference. IMHO, Halo is very transparant chorus and I prefer thick chorus (which I found on my Maxon CS505). It works very well on guitars, but on bass I prefer Maxon.
Beside that, somebody is willing to trade the Halo with his TC SCF plus some cash....
(Halo is very rare in my country, perhaps mine is the only one, so those people with GAS will ready to pay a lot for it).
Ooooooo... I've been eyeballing that pedal for quite a while now! If you get one, let us know how it is!!!

I'm super happy I just finally gave in and got them. Beyond that, I'll hold my thoughts for a bit.

Heh, don't wait on baited breath for me... I'm notoriously flaky in time-frames for my personal stuff. I'm hoping to get all my gear rotated back to a place I'm happy with before digging in again. Ordered a Heil PR-40 today for recording.

I found no seriously convincing arguments for it, other than 'well, you should!'. Feel free to change my mind.
How about:
"Because you're less than 500 miles from Dr Bob Bonner and are therefore susceptible to Ampeg-induced seismic activity"?
I'm not even gona try and change your mind, I personally think there's no need for it. The shock mount is pretty expensive and its' really bulky compared to others. It doesn't fit in the case either...
I think you'll like the new mic, it really is an awesome bit of kit
