Just ordered: the Beavis Board. Time to screw around with building s^&t

Going: nothing for now, until my wife realizes I bought the Beavis Board and makes me sell some stuff :help:

My Beavis Board arrived the other day. I was playing around with it last night. Great fun.

Hopefully your turn around time is a bit quicker than mine. I ordered it WELL over a year ago and it got here about 2 days ago. I think they have just recently put a heap together though, so you might be lucky.

eek, I hope it doesn't take that long. His website said something like 6-8 weeks, and I was hoping that was the upper end.

Im fairly sure that was on the page when I originally ordered too. I can remember thinking it was going to be a few weeks or so. I actualy ended up totally forgetting about it.

I got an e-mail the other day from Beavis Audio saying they had just done a batch of them up and was I still interested?

After I sent the cash, the turn around was really quick. About a week to Australia. I would imagine that not eveyone who originally ordered would have taken one, so you will probably get lucky and score one pretty soon.

If not, a standard breadboard will get you by. The Beavis Board is just nice because it comes with a heap of parts all ready selected to be half useful. Also, the breakout box makes your power connections a little more permanent and you can sag the voltage easily. It makes experimentation easy.

Yeah, I know I could do it the hard way with a breadboard and wiring up jacks and stuff. The Beavis Board is just so damn convenient. I figure that this will eliminate any excuses I had been using to put off starting my building projects.

I have a poor man's Beavis Board:
