Better yet, build you're own for about $50.

That depends on what your situation is... Sourcing all the parts that come with the BB would take ages. You would need to look over heaps of projects and come up with a substantial shopping list of parts.

Then there is the building of the breakout box and assembly of the whole board in general. You also need the knowledge to be able to build the breakout box, as well as drills and other tools etc..

If you put any kind of value on your personal time, then $250 isn't really that bad. You know you are getting a quality product with all the bits required to build a heap of circuits.

The BB kit is a great way to get straight into experimenting without having to know 'I need X amount of these and Y amount of those'. 'This is how I create a voltage sag' etc.. That is where the $250 value comes in to it.

Oh, did I mention it comes with cookies too? :D

Just arrived: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM
Coming: Boss DD-20

I want to put velcro on the bottom of the CCB but I don't want to screw up the painted labeling on the bottom. Hmmm.

This is a pic of my FX75b with some tape wrapped around the base. First layer was wrapped sticky up, second layer was wrapped sticky down. If I decide to put it on my board I only need to stick my velcro to the tape, not the pedal. As you can see, I am an excellent photographer.
