Going: Sun Face NKT-275. Might get another one someday (with an LED), maybe. Does someone make a Fuzz Face clone with a passive tone knob? That would be swell.

Coming: Z.Vex Ringtone. Hooray for the patience / dumb luck / fortitude to wait for a good price.

I've been meaning to get some clips of my v2 huckleberry.....

I can say this tho: It is teh awesome. Keeps the low end, and sounds teh uber win. It reacts a little bit different to active/buffer stuff, but it just gets less smooth/more gritty.

Not as facemelt as my Swollen Pickle, but with the juice (bias? IIRC) turned up it gets pretty crazy. Somewhere between the Pickle and Supercollider IMHO

Wow, I know of said 'berry but never knew it was Fuzz Faced. Sweet.

Might have to try one some day, but the charm of the Sun Face is in the low end retention. I've never heard anything keep the bass so completely intact such as that pedal. I didn't compare it side by side with a Blue Berry, but based on memory and extensive experience with that particular Berry, the Sun Face was more natural sounding.

Ugh, why did I sell it. :bawl: Oh wait, battery only, top mounted jacks, no LED, and it required EQ tweaking later in the chain to reign in some harsh treble. Only good for recording really, and the Pickle Pie B is close enough in a mix. :D
