Okay this is my second Musket, so I have had some experience with it.

The bass is intact for sure. If you're worried about bass loss, then don't fret.

The focus knob is great in helping retain the lows. Crank it counter-clockwise and you're set.

I mean it's a different beast compared to the standard Green Russian.
