Whats Coming & Going Thread Pt. Fife! V

BJF and BJFE are the same thing: Bjorn F. Juhl and then Electronics. ;)

Getting a new Blueberry pretty much means going through Custom-Sounds. Basically they'll take orders and then when there's enough of them Bjorn will make a batch. I got lucky in one instance that they just happened to have a Blueberry in stock which apparently isn't common. It was also when the exchange rate was most favorable. Still one of the only pedals I still regret selling.

Send an email here: [email protected] and Harri (at least that's who I've always communicated with) will take care of you.

I always say BJFE because that's the name of the company. You see a lot of places that just say BJF because apparently they don't like vowels. Also, people regularly assume the Blue Berry is out of production but it's more the fact that there simply aren't that many in existence.

Beaten to the proverbial punch! Speaking of ridiculously expensive dirt boxes, holy balls did I forget how awesome the Woolly Mammoth was. Maybe this time I'll use it with a passive bass and no tweeters in a mix before thinking "this thing sucks!"

5sg - The other thing you can do is PM the person who is getting a BBBOD and ask him to let you know when and if he's going to sell it. I asked funkucanttouch (who I sold my BBBOD to) to let me know if is selling it b/c I'd buy it back (seller's remorse) and here we are!
Matt Dean PM'd me to hold it for him if I decide to sell it.
Just keep your eyes peeled on the FS forum and in this thread! One will come up...they always do!

It's more like $365, you're including the VAT. ;)

Still pretty damn expensive. I have a personal ceiling of $300 for pedals that rarely gets broken. The question you ask yourself with a Blue Berry is: do you want to sound like an overdriven power tube amp, with perfect control on saturation and volume, footswitchable even? If you want that sound all the time you're better off with the proper amp setup, but if you like the ability to on/off such things at will, it's pretty cheap really.

Have no idea how this is going to work out, but, just in: BJFE.org Folk Fuzz 3.5 kit.

Kit assembled by John Fromel. Case design and finished by the team of Fromel and Donner.

Our own community member, BC, is helping me with the assembly (I don't know a soldering iron from a clothes iron :D ). Pic of the kit:
