It was a tough call and I may regret it, but I've been wanting to focus on actual bass playing gigs and the HOG was kind of a distraction to that. With the M13 I can get some of what the HOG gives and a bunch more, and have it all preset so that I don't accidentally turn it on with it set on pitch bend instead of volume (not that that ever happened ). Plus with the M13 I can have my obnoxious noise board and my straight bass board on the same scraps of metal and wood.

It was the hardest piece of gear I've ever chosen to part with. Don't hate me.

In is a Fulltone Soul Bender from my brother. He may sell it to me. It's #804 with the germanium NKT275 transistors, very dynamic, very large fuzz tone that cleans up very well with my volume knob unlike the silicon fuzzes I'm used to.

Maybe I'll record some clips of it tomorrow.
