The FEA is an outstanding, quiet, feature-rich compressor, and the only reason I sold it was because my new bass has a filter pre, and that doesn't pair up with compression well at all. It won't do heavy squash, but it is awesome for always-on compression, since everything is controllable. As for the SWAW, check the threads I've started, because I have a thread in there where I posted clips of it (I'd link it, but I'm on my iPhone and I'm lazy). Best sounding filter I've tried, very throaty and wah-like, but it wasn't a perfect fit (sadly).

Doesn't bother me! I think it's something to do with it needing to be isolated but I'm simply trying to sound intelligent... Anybody know the answer?

It looks great, I really can't wait to get my hands on it! It was made by Ian Sherwen at Link Removed, he's been really great to deal with!

I bought this with the intent to use it on guitar but I'll probably see how I like it on bass; turns out MkI's sound pretty awesome on bass...
