XXL-B, DL4, MIDIMuRF, pedal train, PP2+, Korg Tuner, a couple guitars, some 90's effects units I had in my closet...

IN: AxeFX Ultra, once I sell everything... and a midi board tbd...

Basically, I was looking at getting a modfactor, a pitchfactor, additional dirt, and maybe even another moogerfooger, which would necessitate either another pedaltrain or a bigger one, so I was probably looking at 12-1500 (or more) out of pocket. Well, I borrowed my guitarist's AxeFX Ultra a few weekends ago, and it does everything I want, and sounds better than lots of pedals I've been auditioning recently (although I haven't had my hands on the eventides...). If I sell my gear and get the axefx and a midi controller, I should come out having to spend way less out-of-pocket.

It's definitely not as cool as a bunch of pedals, but it should end up being more affordable, and more flexible with signal routing... and it's pretty fun having 4 parallel signal chains for mixing up effects...

Oh man, I've wanted to try one of those (and the Seek Wah) for a LLOONNGG time now... If you can do clips, man you gotta post some. If not, at least tell us what you think. I've never really found any solid info on how they sound with bass. I saw a thread around here somewhere, someone was asking about Zvex on bass... and Zack actually replied and said he makes guitar pedals (I was a little stunned, actually). $329 is a little much for me without knowing if it kills the lows or not.

P.S. I thought I was doing good... no G.A.S. for a couple months now and no gear purchase plans... I'm actually kinda hoping you say the Seek Trem sucks, or I'm just gonna have to have one... lol
