What's for dinner, and what are you doing after dinner?

Dinner tonight was simple- some teriyaki marinated sirloin tips (delicious) and a field green salad with cherry tomatoes and carrots (eh, I need my veggies).

After dinner- My G&L L2000 was giving me the hairy eyeball from the corner. I decided to play some funk- a little bit of Sly and the Family Stone, a little bit of Bootsy, just jamming along with Parliament. Talked to the gf on the phone for a while first- we were talking about funk, so that put me in the mood for it.

How's about you? I shoulda taken pics of the food but forgot to. Oh well!

Big pan of stir fry veggies and some chicken. Then couch snuggles with my better half and watching a couple episodes of Tales from the Tour Bus. This episode is about Betty Davis, who I never heard of before this. She is bad***!!!

Sorry, I'm going OT in the OT!

In my haste to post in this thread, I neglected to fully read the title. While my post described dinner, I did not describe what happened after dinner...

The last shafts of sunshine bathed my partner's garden, giving her plants a final chlorophyll creating kiss before moving onto the other gardens of the world. We sat and revelled in the glistening, twinkling moments. She opined her spinach patch was too small; I looked into her eyes and said "I think your patch is the perfect size because you fill it with love." She accused me of being truthful, and then she laughed. We had a good, long laugh over that. I had to turn away so she couldn't see the tear rolling down my cheek. As I wiped it away and turned to gaze at her some more, she put the .410 to her shoulder and fired, killing one of the pesky rabbits trying to eat her spinach. Then we went in and had ice cream.
