Sounds very cool, please keep us updated once you've gotten that together!

I'm hoping to have it working in time for the NW GTG on April 21st. I may not have a permanent case ready by then, but it should be functional on some level.

Here's a link to the pcb and design info: Link Removed .

Just got my pack of D'Addario ProSteels today! I put them on, and I'm already liking them more than the Rotosound Swing Bass strings I had on before.

They're pretty similar in tone, but the small differences mean a lot to me! :D

In other news... I ordered a new rack case, and I missed the delivery of my Korg DTR-1000 today. I'll have to go get it from UPS tomorrow, as I'm going to see Grindhouse tonight, and I'd rather not be late for the 10:00PM showing :smug:

just bought an akai unibass on ebay.co.uk...$207 including shipping :hyper:

theres a couple music shops on there selling them for 74.99GBP plus shipping - planet of sound and fairdeal music...planet of sound never replied to my request for int'l shipping, but faideal did...theres about 9 of them available between the 2 companies if that sparks anyone's interest Link Removed

the cool thing is all of them are new in the box

should get here in less than 2 weeks...my next gig isn't until may 11, so i'll have a lot of time to play with it until then

i think the last time i was tis excited to buy something off ebay was when i got my marshall guvnor for like $70

i got a gator 4 space, pedalboard set of George L's, and a Korg DTR-1000 comin. Next week, after some money transfers into my paypal account, I'm gonna start hunting the 'bay for a deluxe memory man and a bass micro synth.

edit: Got the BMS on order through a local music store! Might be here by the end of next week, or possibly the following monday. yes!

Drunken gear shopping is the best kind :D

All I've got in the mail is a letter from the finance company to tell me how much I owe after getting my new bass

Indeed it is! Unfortunately they were out of stock, so my substance dependant impulse buy suddenly becomes a dilema for a "sober" and "responsible" adult... Which is no fun at all.

Congrats on the new bass though! As long as you got the bass before the letter, it was hopefully all worthwhile!

I Just scored a rocktron tsunami off evil bay for $50 shipped:hyper: :hyper:

poor gear whore,
i'm interested on how you like that snarling dogs pedal, they have one at the local music go round and i think i might pounce on it just for the volume pedal function

I have not had much time to mess with it yet. I do like the volume function so far. I think I will use it mostly for that. The reverse tape simulation is not as good as I expected it to be. I would think if you are only interested in the volume function you might be better off to get a volume pedal. I have heard some not so good things about the reliability of the snarling dogs stuff. I only pounced on this pedal cause it was really cheap.
