What's in your "ManCave"?

I put this in the miscellaneous folder so as not to prevent anyone from posting a music related room. That's another ball of wax. I'm proud of the "back-forty" but there are a number of dead projects that need my time. Restoration of old junk is a lot of work but it is soothing to see the end results. Racing got into my blood and never left.

Now that the kids are on their own, well two out of three, I have the entire lower level of my house to myself , and there was alway a one bedroom, one bath in-law apartment downstairs too, so plenty of room.

The downstairs living room houses the band gear, and is great to practice in as it has a fireplace for winter, and attaches to screened-in porch, which is nice when it is warmer outside. I have a small tool room/shop, and the aforementioned in-law apartment.

Added bonus, my wife never complains about noise, so my band room gets used by everyone.

It is amazing how much time you have to fix/renovate things, (Read-Fixing up the man-cave.) and how much less cleaning one has to do when the kids move out.

My 'Man Cave' exists only in my mind... the proposed physical space allocated for this non-entity is currently occupied by Curious George, Elmo, who by the way will soon utter his last breath, when he accompanies me to the range... numerous Hot Wheel IWDs... Improvised Walking Deterrents... Mega Bloks... the list goes on...

... and seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way.
