Yeah Stu was incredible.....the reason I went was to see Stu, but Greg was top notch.....great guitarist!!

Where you have a hot Fusion guitar player,you will almost always find a hot bass player and drummer.

Neil Young, solo and with Crazy Horse. Have it all, and there’s a lot given how productive he’s been over 50 + years.

I have thousands of albums on vinyl, over 1,000 cds and over 10,000 songs downloaded. Some of the vinyl I inherited when my mother passed away in 2013 and some I have owned since the early 1970s. I have music from every era from the 1930s to today but most of what I have is rock from the late 1950s to the mid 1980s. I also have some pop, jazz, blues, classical, motown. As far as artists are concerned, I have more Beatles, Aerosmith and Queen than any other artists.

The largest collection I have is of Frank Zappa. Probably 100 titles just there. Runners up are John Zorn and Miles Davis. I also have a lot of classic jazz. But my collection runs the gamut from death metal to new age.

The most is from a band called moe. Then Zeppelin and The Beatles, thogh I really don't listen to either of those 2 anymore.

Sounds a lot like my collection, but add in folk, newgrass, classical, trad jazz, and other stuff I don't recall, at the moment.

Recently, Amazon has screwed up something with my Sonos speaker apps. All of a sudden, I started finding songs that failed to play. First World problems.
Anyway-
I got into a chat with Amazon...the guy on the other end told me I have 35,000+ viable songs (still) in their Cloud.

My library is split between heavy metal and industrial music with a little bit of hip hop sprinkled in.

Out of all of the music I own on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital, Iron Maiden is a sizable chunk of my music library. Ever since I got into them Eddie has sold me on albums before I've even heard them.

I have about 1100 CDs and over 19000 tunes on the computer. Like all sorts of stuff from metal to power pop to jazz to fusion. XTC makes up the largest part of my collection closely followed by Iron Maiden.

I was cleaning out a closet today and found a stash of a hundred or so old CDs. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.

But picking out three CDs at random:

1. DGC Rarities Vol 1 (1994)
2. Midnight Oil - 20,000 Watt RSL (1997)
3. The Very Best of Crowded House (1996)

Some observations from this small sample - it seems I only bought CDs in the '90s, I tended to favour compilation albums and I think some of my wife's CDs got mixed into that pile.

I have a lot of U2. I haven't really been into them since Achtung Baby, but people keeping buying me their albums. After that, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Deacon Blue, Foo Fighters, David Sylvian, Led Zeppelin, Rickie Lee Jones, Peter Gabriel...
