So on my workbench for the last couple of weeks has been, a workbench!
Subframe coming together, made from 8x2 beams. Sloppy mortices but I'm learning:

I've challenged myself to make this one without any screws or pins, so I used split dowels and wedges to hold it all together.
You can just make out a couple of them in the below pic, but unfortunately I didn't get any close ups:

I saw them flush after the glue has dried.
And here she is with the vintage Woden installed; I rescued that old vice from the skip a couple of years back. It's been waiting for this day:

It's all held together with the dowels, except for the legs which are held in place with bolts, so that I can remove them for transportation, should I ever need to relocate my shop.
Here's the shop in the closest thing the shop is ever going to get to a finished state; wish I'd taken a 'before' picture as it was just floor to ceiling junk!

We're in the process of buying a house and I've been given plenty of little projects to do for the new place; I'll keep y'all posted if any of them get interesting! Hopefully there'll be an actual instrument build happening at some point in the next 12 months... I can dream, right?
