What's On Your Workbench?

What do you call that? A not-winder? Zero-coil?

How about notdoneyet? :D Aircoil? What's the best zero turn pickup for metal?

It has copper and lead wires now.

I'm getting ready to swap parts on these two Strat mini 23" scale guitars. A few years ago I had one converted to a bass, I specifically chose it because it had the jack on top like standard Strat, but since I changed from a Sony wireless transmitter with a cable that goes to the jack, to a small Lekato pod style that is awkward in the top jack, I bought an open box Strat Mini guitar with the jack on the lower edge. I'm swapping all the parts as soon as I receive the Kala/Galli 23" flatwound nylon core I always use (yes, they work with magnetic pickups).

Speaking of fancy tools you don't need. I added a dust collection shroud to my 1950s jointer -

For those interested, the video is up on my woodworking YouTube channel. For those who don't care about YouTube;
So that is my super mega fancy 1950s 6-1/4" "Power-Kraft" jointer. For those who may not know, these were manufactured by Rockwell-Delta specifically for Montgomery-Ward. I got this thing used for $80 with the equally super mega fancy portable stand. What matters here is, the tables are dead flat, the fence can be set to a perfect 90 degrees and everything works. It had plenty of surface rust when I got it, but it cleaned up well enough for my uses. I don't use it a ton for guitar building (in fact, I have yet to use it at all for that) but I do use it for general woodworking projects.

I do enjoy these kinds of projects. :cool:

Can you link this? Or give the name of the channel? Anything else that makes it possible for us mortals to find you there? :)
I have a couple channels, and usually I hesitate to promote them here, because I fear the wrath of the mods. :roflmao: :laugh: :roflmao:
That being said, for my woodworking stuff, search for "Bad Apple Woodwerx"
And for my guitar stuff, search for "Bad Apple Guitarwerx"
;) :cool:

The jointer thingy was on my woodworking channel. There's also a third channel where I keep all my racing adventures and in-car footage of races. Just search for "Tim McDougald" if you're at all interested in that. :thumbsup:
And yes, I do all my own video editing. It, much like me, is a work in progress. :woot:
