Just complete resawing fretboard blanks mostly morado with a piece of wenge thrown in...

I also received a shipment of truss rods from Bitterroot.com, pretty cool that they include allen wrenches for each rod.

How do the Bitterroot truss rods compare to the LMII rods?

I bought a ten pack of the Bitterroot rods, I've used 3 so far and they are fine. I sometimes have to clean up a little bit of the weld on the non-adjusting end with a file. I've never had a problem with the way they move or the hex interface. I know I've bought rods from LMII in the past, but it was a while ago so I can't give a side by side comparison.

Not sure (I know I have used LMII rods in the past), the Bitterroot rods are low profile, good quality for a great price especially of you buy in bulk (lots of 5 or 10...). They also have more length options than anyone I know of.

First time working with hickory - making a slab desk for my wife. This stuff is hard and heavy! It does not go through the sanding planer very well either - it tends to stick to the paper and cause burns on the wood (all the dark markings here are just grain though). It will require some epoxy filling in some of the knots.
