My early '80s Trace Elliot rig - AH250 amp, ported 4x10 and ported 1x15 (all Fanes), 4x5 "bright box". Once described after a sound check as "a piano having an orgasm".

My GK 800RB + Ampeg Fridge combo sounds pretty steller! The only rig I've played through that sounded better, was the Fender Bassman 100T into a 410 neo cab. Sounded absolutely incredible!

Carvin BX1200 run in bi-amp mode with a pair of Doctor Bass cabs (112LF sub + 1260 3-way).
Ric-O-Sound rig. Fender Bassman 100T/410 neo for the bridge PU and SB300/410 neo for the neck.
Festival PA with well done sidefills and all is hard to beat. For bass rigs it was this guys all tube Trace head with some kind of handbuilt 4x10 cabs with unfinished plywood that i have no idea what they were back in the late 90s. The guy was cool enough to let me play his rig, but not cool enough to talk to me backstage and answer my questions about his cabs.

I briefly had an old Acoustic combo with a 15 in a folded horn, amp had graphic eq, a bit of hiss at low volume but the sound was awesome. First time I carried it up a flight of stairs I thought my back would break so I traded it. But it was the coolest rig and with a huge sound. These days I'm happy with my PF-50t.
My latest acquisition - all-tube 50W Valvetrain Brandywine - is blowing my freakin' mind here at home. (Through an old Bag End S-15D or the Bergantino HDN210 w/ the tweeter off.)
Tone at home doesn't always translate to bliss on the gig but this time I think it might. (We'll find out, next month...)

My Mesa WD800 through a Subway 115, which I bought, paired with the SW 112. Had a chance to listen to different combinations and that was just pure sonic bliss. And the SW 210 was a very close second. I really only need the 115 for now, but the 112's calling my name.
Running my Rics through these two. Lows through the Super Bassman / 8x10, highs through the 100T / 4x10.
I was blessed with shows summer of '19. Bi-amping is my favorite.

Back in 1979? 1980? I was asked to sub in for a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in years. OK - no big deal. I arrive at the venue and walk to the stage (he said I only needed my bass) and there, staring me in the eyes was a Traynor 150 SS head with a 2X15 cab. I figure, "Well, it's only one night".
So, long story short, I plug in and it is one of the sweetest amps I have ever heard. Hell, even had a dry, crunchy, punchy tone that blew my mind. Beautiful. I should have probably tried to buy it from my friend, but alas..................wish I had...but I returned to my (at the time) Sunn Rig..

I had an amazing rig back in the day—an eden WP-100 preamp into a QSC MX-1500 in bridged mono driving two eden D410T 4x10 cabs. It was sweet, incredibly loud, and gave me a workout every time I played a gig. I'd fire it up and annoy the neighbors just to hear it and feel the shock waves from it. Makes me smile just thinking about it.
