whats up with Tech21/Sansamp? help me out

I am going all rack and need to buy the Tech 21 RPM (butter baby). But everywhaere i go it says that its not in stock and/or that Tech 21 has unusually long waiting periods and that i could go ahead and buy it but i wouldn't be able to know when it comes but they would let me. I DONT LIKE WAITING, YOU WOULDNT LIKE ME WHEN IM WAITING!

Is this something recent?

Does anyone know where i might be able to find one sooner?
