I own a Laney amp HCM120B Hardcore Max amp and, eve though it hasn't been the worse amp ever, it still has given me some problems.
The latest is, after a while of playing, the speaker just dies. The amp is still turned on, and even the Compressor LED still turns on when I play (which makes me think the signal is still going through) but it doesn't make any sound at all.
Yesterday, because I was bored, I connected the amp to my computer from the "external speaker" port on it to the microphone input on the computer (as I usually do to record sound) and I can listen to it just fine.
I don't know anything about amps, so I don't want to take my chances into trying to fix it myself, but I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone and pretty much if it's worth it to get it fixed (it has broken once before) or if I should get a new one all together.
Thanks for your attention!
