I've had a lot of time for Richard Hawley lately. British guy, veteran player with a 'teddy boy'/greaser demeanor. Simple, soulful love ballads done with great depth and dignity, as well as some fabulous sounds. His style is somewhere between a more serious Chris Isaak and a less melodramatic, baritone Roy Orbison.
