Physists have to be experts on just about everything, (except maybe biology?).

I have a lot of respect for your knowledge and education. (I also have a series 2, and series 3 fdeck pre, that work great).

One of these days I would like to catch a performance by you over in Madtown.

I used to play in a blues band back in the mid 1970s and we played at a place in Madison once that was formerly a church before it became a bar. It was called The Church Key. Back in those days, (when beer came in tin plated steel cans), you needed a can opener that cut two triangular holes in the can to drink and vent the can. Instead of calling it a can opener, the slang term for it was "church key". That made it a good name for a former church, turned nightclub.

I am a commercial insurance broker by day, with a focus on things that are difficult to insure (work comp for construction companies for instance).

Like everyone else in my industry, fell in backwards by accident but it is a great industry to be in.

Round these parts a bottle opener is known as a "church key" to some of a certain age.

I have a pretty unmentionable job that could kill this thread before it starts, so I'll chime in after a while, if this gets any traction.

Airport security. Currently beginning the process of acquiring my private pilot license, to eventually fly commercially.

Another ramp agent here! Unlike you the years did get to me. Back and hand injuries. These days I just push and tow planes.

Yeah I was just being a goofball anyway. Nature is my homeboy. If I'm not hiking I'm kayaking. And we have turned down half a dozen developers for our family farm back home. Gotta have some wide open spaces.

bobba 66. I did R&D, field service, QA, manufacturing engineering, and other technical stuff on equipment you may be familiar with. Does the name QuadTech mean anything to you? I've been in a lot of plants like where you work. Some areas are very hot, noisy, and stinky, and those are the good points of the environment.

Plenty of QuadTech gear around. One of the giants in the industry. I keep trying to escape the business, but they keep pulling me back in.

I love my job simply for the challenge that comes with understanding and being able to handle a multitude of jobs effectively.

Because of my willingness to do whatever it takes to get through the day, I have been able to earn the respect of most of our employees. Whereas my cousin is looked upon as a silver spoon brat!! That has always amused me.
