Ah, of course. Shorter headstockThe headstock doesn't stick out as far & causes the center of torque on the instrument to be more centered to your body.
Love the old Aria Pro II headstock.
I absolutely love posts like... "What is your favorite head stock".
Some people think this kind of stuff is lame. But I think it's cool.
Just kidding..,.
...Sorry if I sound like a big dick, buy really?

I get off big time talking about things like headstocks, knobs, shapes of knobs ( and their retainers ) , best of everything. SS amps VS tubes, best strings for a P-bass with retro custom soapbar-pickup and seriously worn frets on a pristine closet condition fretless P-Bass...
By the way, is this Craigslist deal a major score?
The guy says it is a real Fender. Looks more like a Ukulele to me. Hmmm.
Can somebody please tell me which manufacturer has the next new amp so that I can jump on board the band wagon and be a part of the buzz that sells a major ton of product that will become the next huge category of buy me cheap classifieds adds on Craigslist, E-Bay, and Talk Bass?

Is that all this is?

Maybe bass players are really dull. You know, bottom feeders in the orchestra pit.
People who think of themselves as musicians but believe the most interesting thing about music is the shape of their headstock.
Not to mention pick guards and cute little decals.
Sorry if I sound like a big dick, buy really?

Without your love of a particular bass and it's sound, what is, from a design perspective, your favorite headstock?

You sound like someone who would be fun to hang out with.
Just kidding.

It's long, yeah... A bit of a stretch to reach the G string tuner, but damn if that don't look sexy!
