What's your favorite "Non Precision" Precision bass?

This Valenti kills... sounds incredible, feels fantastic, built like a tank + crazy versatility.

um... nope, non of my favorite "non-Precision" Precision Basses are really Precision Basses, because they all have PJ pickup arrays. There is absolutely no bass with a single P pickup that does anything for me...except the occasional (and extremely rare) ancient Fender P.

But, for the record, my favorite non-Fender basses that have a Precision pickup are the Pedulla Buzz/MVP, and the original Spector NS-2.

Oh, wait, does a Rob Allen Solid 4 count? 'cuz that's definitely my favorite non-Precision Precision Bass.

Representing the southpaws here. I’m a short scale player, but Fender would having nothing to do with building a lefty Mustang, and basically told me that I’m an e-mail, so Sore got my business instead. Ignore the J pup, it’s just for looks, IMHO. The P pickup is where it’s all at, especially through anything Ampeg while plucking LaBellas.

The one in front of me. Currently called a Monterrey. It's a P, right? If the neck doesn't give me grief I can mod the rest to get in the ballpark. Cept the one now has a Wilde P45. Which is probably worth trying in a budget 5 string.

No rush.

The very 1st bass I purchased with my own hard earned money while still in high school was just like this Kramer Stagemaster Standard, but mine was trans blue. It's basically a P bass. Vol/Tone, Split P pickup. I'd love to see some of your favorite non Fender Precision basses. Let's say the parameters are: Must have a single P pickup with vol/tone, but not a fender. Go!

I don’t understand “non-Fender Precision Bass”. A Precision Bass is a Fender. Do You mean a bass that copies the Fender Precision pickup setup?
