What's your favorite Rickenbacker color?

If you were to buy one (the 4001 or 4003), which color would you get?

Mapleglo is my favorite, but I already have one. I guess if I bought another it would be Fireglo or Jetglo. I prefer the old Azureglo to Midnight Blue, although GC's sale price makes it a lot more attractive.

That's sort of a loaded question......I own a Midnight Blue 4003 and a Mapleglo 4003......but I answered MapleGlo.....because it's the newer of the two....

I have Rics in all the standard colors and while Jetglo is my favorite, they all look good. Mapleglo was at the bottom of my list, but I really wanted a fretless Ric and since they stopped production on those 3 or so years ago and I found a minty one, I grabbed it. I have to say the figuring on the wood is very nice and I love the walnut wings on the headstock and it is very striking. Also, I wasn't too hot on Fireglo because in pictures it always looks orange, but I have a model 610 in that color again because it was minty and production on those ceased in 1995 and it is very nice. I would love a Blueburst or Burgunyglo, but I am happy with what I have.
So I guess my experience is that I have gotten good deals on nice Rics in colors I wouldn't have gone for if I had the choice and have been quite impressed in both instances.

I'd have to go with Midnight Blue, though I love most of the colours.
JG and FG are just classics, but if I had to pick just one, MID.
Luckily I don't have to have just one.

Now that I have seen firsthand how nice Fireglo is, I think Amber Fireglo would be cool to see in person.

Mapleglow as 1st pick, midnight blue or black with black pickgaurd and hardware as 2nd choice.

Montezuma Brown (similar to Autumnglo), White w/black trim, and Burgundyglo.

But if it's limited to the colors offered now I guess I'd go with Fireglo if it's a nice one. They vary a lot though.
