Well thanks for the unintentional comment. I'm glad my photoshoped bass looked good enough to have you think to look Fenders site. It's a mock up of one I would like to put together or have built. Farther down the thread someone mentioned that Mike Lull had a P bass with a t-bird pickup in it at NAMM. The photo of the CAR bass is the Lull. They should be out soon.
What kind of Fender is that?
Seen Pino playing it with the Who, but it kept me wondering.

Well I just picked up a 2001 Squier Affinity P bass with no jack..need to order a bunch a parts (electronics and hardware). I want to give it that 60s look with the p/u and bridge covers. After that, I would love to buy one of those SAGA P bass build kit ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]) and add a cavity down by the bridge and install a humbucker pickup...That could be fun.
