I started playing in 1977 and acquired this shortly after.
I’ve used it constantly since then…on just about everything.
(BTW, they’ve gone up in price considerably since I got mine)

Oberheim GM-400 rack unit. It's the oldest, and only device I put between the guitar and an amp, and I'll always use one. I'll chase down the details in a sound but I'll not chase endless alternative devices once I have one that works, especially if I can keep it going myself.

Had a pair of those in the first studio I was around... super-quiet, sounded great.
I've had a couple of these, too. My antique is an Aphex 104 rackmount...I'm too lazy to pull it out of my file cabinet for a pic.

MXR Bass Octave Deluxe, I have tried so many different octave pedals and I keep coming back to the MXR!
I have an EHX bass microsynth and a “tall font” big muff, both from the early 90s. I’ve gigged the tall font, but not the MS.
I have multiple boss pedals from the 80s and 90s. 3 of the brown “bass” series of pedals: the bass chrous, flanger, and parametric eq. I have a flanger and 2 octavers from the EARLY 80s. And a digital dimension chrous from the 90s. I also have an OC3, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually used it. The only ones I’ve played out with are the octavers, and then only one of them. Everything else just sort hangs out.

Pretty sure I have a DOD analog delay from the 80's that's stashed... somewhere?... Gotta dig that thing out and see if I can have some fun with it 
Also have an EHX Q-Tron in that original funky wooden box. Love that greasy, gooey, quirky-ness that comes from that gizmo even though I don't use it a ton.

I have a EBS compressor that I've used for about 15 years. Still do.
DigiTech GNX3 Workstation
Includes an 8 track recorder (limited to an 128 Mb Smart Card)... I plug my phone in, put on the headphones, and it makes for a pretty versatile practice platform.

I bought it used long ago but it had a lifetime of use before it ever came to my possession
My amp tech serviced a few months back, cleaned out all the tracks on the sliders, still works great.
I quite like that it plugs in directly at the wall without a wall wart.
Fulltone bassdrive, I love them and I have 5 of them and 2 johnk clones!!
My oldest effect has been on my synth rig since before I started with bass. The MidiVerb 4 has some really nice choruses and reverb combos. It stays on one of my mixing board's FX loops - mostly to add reverb to synthesizers. I switch it over to one of a few favorite chorus or chorus/reverb patches - and dial the bass into it from to time. It's wonderful for songs from a lot of post-punk (The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, etc.) bands.

Bass specific (and I've not been playing as long as most of the seasoned pros around here) is the VT Bass v2. It's always on.

Early 80s, when my 1st and only bass was my fretless P.
I never ended up using it much live - it just seemed like the subtlety was lost, and I didn't like messing with pedals.
