There is a Ford stamping plant around here. They built a separate fenced lot for employees to park other brands.
I was really into hot rods as a kid in the 80's (still am, in many ways) and I remember that debate very well. I remember in Mustang Magazine, they were forced to apologize for putting a Mustang in an issue that had a Chevy motor. People got completely bent out of shape about it.Some of the Ford versus Chevy stuff I've seen in person and on other forums is nothing short of legendary..... just like the rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins fans.

Not forever. ICE going bye-bye.Most of the brand purists get bent when there's a Chevy engine under the hood of a non Chevy.... I've seen it time and time again.
I've often said the Chevy V8 is the P Bass of the automotive world..... It fits everywhere, it's easily upgradeable and it's the standard that others will be forever compared to.
That is indeed true. A co-worker wouldn't ride in my Malibu, not because it was a rust bucket, but because his grandfather was somebody important at Ford.
Whatever, it keeps life interesting, as long as it just sticks to quirky things like that and not people getting riled up over the same old ethnocultural and religious stuff and fat shaming and stuff like that.

I'm not holding my breath, unfortunately.Maybe someday

So far so good, haven't run into them again...bholder - hope all's going well with this now.
There have been times I have been envious of other people's cars or trucks, but not to the point of harrassing them, especially by leaving an anonymous (hopefully) note. I hope being identified by you for what she did has caused her to rethink some of her actions.
I bet you never suggested their demise. I would also bet that you would tell them to their face what you had written. That is a lot different from what happened to you and speaks volumes about differences between you and the other "person."Over the years I've left numerous notes on vehicles that I admired, telling the owner how cool I think their car is.
I feel this is a big part of a particular type of person i'd rather not know or even see.....Seriously? That's the most important idea you're carrying around in your noggin, that you think is so important that it needs to be shared with everyone else on the road?
some people are so busy expressing themselves that they never bothered to stop and wonder if they should. One certain way to identify the type of person the OP is describing, is if they have one of those black market stickers on their vehicle that shows "Calvin" peeing on something. Usually it's found on a particular American made vehicle and the object being peed on is the logo of another (hated rival) auto manufacturer.

I can't edit this post any more, but I would point out that I've definitely been guilty of this one before, and even now I don't always shut my yap when I should.some people are so busy expressing themselves that they never bothered to stop and wonder if they should.
