When during your day do you play bass?

Whenever I’m at the crossroads of ambition and creativity. Being retired has it’s advantages.
In the morning after a couple cups of coffee. Play in the spare bedroom w/ headphones.
Play an hour or two.
Usually stream jazz and play fretless for awhile.
Then modern alt indie hard rock on fretted.
In the afternoon go to my big space off the garage for an hour or two.
Play slap to the drum machine.
Turn on the ol' iPod practice with a pick whatever comes up random on the P w/ flats.
Neighbors seem to like it!

I'm retired and the wife still works 1/2 day so, while she is at work. Somewhere between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.
Most days around 6:30 or 7:30 pm, after work, dinner...
If there are accumulated honeydews, sometimes later like 8pm. Much after that during the week my brain is used up; my day starts at 4am.

Every day between approximately 5 - 6 pm, unless I have to be, or be doing something else. (I also rotate my basses each day unless I'm feeling especially enthralled by one. Then I might do two days in a row with one.) That was always a good time because my wife and I would usually have a drink and sit and talk before dinner around 7:00. But since she passed away (in August), I'm less structured with the times...
I work from home these days and my office doubles as my music room. Two basses and a Telecaster are within arms reach. So I pretty much play / practice throughout the day, whenever the temptation gets the best of me. Focused practice at night, during the day I mostly run through stuff on our set list. Times like these I'm glad my boss doesn't read TalkBass

Neither, usually late afternoons a couple of days a week. And then 3-4+ hours most Friday nights at a private jam. I am more or less retired but still do work at home several hours a week. Quick testing of whatever electronic widget I happen to be working on can happen at pretty much any time, but I don't really consider it to have much to do with bass playing.
Well, I have a day job, and a life, so it's complicated...
- Mondays, every second Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays I practise in the evenings after dinner, usually starting about 8:30pm and going for an hour, but sometimes up to two hours. This is my focussed time, with specific objectives like learning new songs, practising a particular skill or technique, or fiddling around with amps and pedals looking for new sounds. Right now, I'm mostly using it to try to improve my sight reading speed.
- The other Tuesdays are band rehearsal nights, so we play together from about 7:00 - 10:00pm, although about 30 minutes of that is usually spent talking.
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work from home for my day job. There's 90 minutes of online meetings from 9:00 - 10:30am both days, so I usually pick up one of my basses and noodle away unplugged during that time.
- Saturdays and Sundays really depend on what else I'm doing. Most weekends I have family commitments, or plans to catch up with my cycling buddies for a ride, or some maintenance to do around the house, or my share of the housework, etc. But if I'm not going away out of town, I'll always find another couple of hours somewhere over a weekend. This tends to be my unfocussed "fun time", just noodling, playing old favourite songs, etc. or sometimes this is when I work on my own projects.
Every week day between 10 / 10.30 pm and 11.59 pm. At 00.00, I run to bed to avoid my coach become a pumpkin..

No particular time. I'm retired so I can play whenever I want.
I mostly work from home, so it can be any time. For example, yesterday I worked on a couple of tracks in the afternoon. But I prefer the evening, usually right after dinner.
Before work and my off day. Hopefully i know enough to get by on Sunday morning. On the rare day when not forced into overtime then I might get some time in at night.
I keep an old Peavey Foundation bass on a stand in my office at the university and it often gets a half hour or so at lunch. Also, if I've got something tricky that I need to read or get my fingers under for the evening, it gives me a platform to think about that. Since I retire in under a month, that'll be the end of that silliness!
