The Arctic Monkeys played the Olympics which was, IMO, a pretty good performance. They must have been pretty nervous, despite the fact they headline festivals, etc.

I'm not into the actual sport side of it, but I was proud of the UK's music. We have given the world a lot of great bands and continue to.

I entirely agree. A lot of my favourite music comes from there (Muse, Arctic Monkeys are amongst my favourite, but there's also Pink Floyd, The Who, The Beatles... All brits!), and I'm planning on going to a trip threre. Living some sort of musical pilgrim, ya know?
