Glad TB is back. I've been watching a lot of the Olympics, and not ashamed to admit it. Loads of tennis on Bravo being played at Wimbledon, just great! Swimming and gymnastics are fun as well.

I went to the greenboy forums and learned something about speaker cabinet design from people who were civil to each other. Yet, something inside me missed reading some "Know-nothing" being rude to some other "Know-nothing" over some subject or the other that neither knew anything about. Glad TB is back. I feel like a junkie who just got his fix. 
Good lord....McCartney was THERE and the lead vocalist was so flat I could barely stand to listen to it...
The music was well done but the vocalist made Lennon roll over in his grave so hard Yoko could hear it......

They are a fantastic band. It wasn't perfection, but then again, how many rock n roll bands are?!

Just a month? Really? I've always felt that it's the sporadic nature of TB that gives it a bit of charm that's missing in other musician driven forums.

It's been working like this, autotune has got so popular that singers tried the thwart it by singing in tune.
They in turn got accused of using autotune because suddenly they were in tune.
Just to show there was no autotune being used singers then started singing out of tune.
In the meantime, "autodetune" has emerged as one of the top selling utlities. It's also a makeup remover and fret polish.
Sometimes my response is slow. I never know if it is my line or if the problem is at the TB server.

I had a live sound gig Sat afternoon till early morning. Noted the site was down Sunday before practice, but after practice it was up. Picked a good weekend for me 
I was at my GFs house, away from my basses, and bored to s*** while she watched wedding reality shows... Translation: I was in hell!
Repaired the carb on my lawn mower. I managed to lose the small choke return spring so I replaced it with one from a ballpoint pen...hey, it works on bass bridges. Turned out to be not-such-a-good-idea as the engine now revs with the ferocity of a Huey gunship.

I Installed a Sansamp RBI into my audio chain, then proceeded to note how certain things were different on both my bass's tone knobs, and my compressor and amp. I then proceeded to scream at my band's vocalist to leave our tone alone, went home, and stared at the error screen - clicking refresh so many times I broke the mouse..
I also picked up this thing called an "acoustic guitar"? The sounds it made were strange.. foreign, and the strings hurt my fingers...I felt dirty afterward :/
