When TB was down.

Awesome, you feel great, and it shows!

You've definitely got a glow in that picture...and I see you had to go out and get a whole new wardrobe.

Yep, that's My new "lucky shirt". I usually only wear it on bowling night, special gigs, or when I really feel "about it". I figured that since the "era of the modern man" was on the way out, I'd wanna sport My best look.

I finally finished rebuilding the Fury project bass I bought a while ago and re-strung my Ibanez and found out I had an overgrown back yard. I also stopped cussing out ATT for screwing up access to the site.

Actually - it seems that that hardware has been going bad for a while -my access has been very slow and intermittent for a couple of weeks. Anyone else notice that?

I was lost....
The only thing on TV here is the bloody olympics. A load of doped up maniacs doing the most useless sports.
Who in their right mind wants to watch the 800m pole vault, long distance fencing or ladies equestrian tennis.......huge waste of money.
Anyway thank god TB is back.

I could not agree with you more!! almost as boring as baseball with extra innings!

For at least a month now there are a few times daily that all of a sudden nothing will load on TB, every other site seems to work except TB, then after a few minutes it is running fine! I know it cant be just me, my internet connection is very good, hell the kids watch different shows on hulu and netflix in 3 different rooms wile surfing the net and no slow downs at all, but TB just runs out of gas often when I am the only one using our connection.

I sat in a dark room and cowered in the corner. I also had make-believe conversations and arguments in my head.

TOO Funny!!! :D :D :D Reminded me of one of JimmyM's latest pearls - "TalkBass is the only place where the merits of equipment that doesn't yet exist is debated" (praphrase).

It's so hot and dry around here, the fish won't hardly bite. I'm pleasantly surprised that they are so far surviving in what's left of their bathwater-temp liquid environment. I stayed inside in the conditioned air, played my Ric through headphones, and watched movies...

The Arctic Monkeys played the Olympics which was, IMO, a pretty good performance. They must have been pretty nervous, despite the fact they headline festivals, etc.

I'm not into the actual sport side of it, but I was proud of the UK's music. We have given the world a lot of great bands and continue to.

Good lord....McCartney was THERE and the lead vocalist was so flat I could barely stand to listen to it...:bawl:

The music was well done but the vocalist made Lennon roll over in his grave so hard Yoko could hear it......

Arctic Monkeys indeed.:hmm:
